In 3 Nephi Chapter 19, the people went home and talked among each other all night after Jesus left them until the next day. The next day the 12 disciples who Jesus called split up the people in to 12 groups to minister to them all of the things ver batim that Jesus taught. The people desired to receive the Holy Ghost. Nephi was baptized and then all the people were baptized. After this the Holy Ghost came to them. Angels also came down and ministered unto them.

I just cannot imagine what that would have felt like to be with him!
3 Nephi Chapter 20 talks about how Jesus told the people to never stop praying in their hearts. Then he broke bread and gave them the Sacrament. They did not have bread or wine and so he truly gave it to them! Jesus told the 12 disciples and the Nephites that they had more faith than the Jews in Jerusalem and so they saw more than the Jews in Jerusalem did. He told them that their land was consecrated and would be a place that will gather the lost tribes together in the last days. He told them that they were important and worthy. He made them promises which you can read in this chapter.
In Chapter 21 of 3 Nephi, Jesus prophesies about his 2nd coming and the signs and wonders that would occur. He shared how men will believe and others will not. Jesus Christ cried repentance for the people in the last days. He will cut off witchcraft, soothsayers, and people who make idols to worship. He will destroy cities of wicked people. All sin will be done away with! If the people repent, he will establish his church among them! He will gather all of the lost tribes to the New Jerusalem.

The theme of the entire Book of Mormon is repentance. It is that gift we are given to become clean and be able to stand before the Lord at the last day and know we are forgiven. I am thankful for this knowledge and the opportunity every night before I go to bed to repent of the things I am weak in, and become strong in Christ asking him to make tomorrow better, forgive me where I fall short, and thank him for his love and mercy.
There actually is a lot of reading in these 3 chapters and I did not go over in detail as I normally do. I have much to think on and ponder of these chapters especially 3 Nephi 19. I hope you will read and ponder as well.
