In Alma Chapter 58, Helaman ends his letter to Moroni by going in to detail about the wars being fought between the Nephites and the Lamanites. He expresses how much faith the Nephites have in God, God's protection for the Nephites, the Lamanites of Ammon who fought with the Nephites and not one man was lost even with many wounds, etc. He expresses how much God has been merciful and took care to help them get their lands back and preserve their freedoms.
In Alma Chapter 59, Moroni asked Pahoran to send men and support to help Helaman, the chapter discusses war, and Moroni gets angry that the government doesn't do more to protect the religious freedoms of The Nephites.
In Alma Chapter 60, Moroni writes to Pahoran who is Governor of Zarahemla and he is spittin' mad. He tells Pahoran that if they government doesnt start helping and sending aid, provisions, weapons, and men to help in this cause of Freedom, Moroni will stop going after the Lamanites for a time and head to Zarahemla and come after the Government to "clean house internally".
His words were super strong and even threatening. He was fair and pointed out well what the needs are of the Nephites, how he felt that many were sitting back and letting the Nephites fall by the Thousands against the Lamanites and Moroni's call for help for his men and the men of Helaman wasn't being responded to.
I felt like while reading Chapter 60, it reminded me somewhat of rhetoric we have heard in other Nations the last 5 years around the world. Read Chapter 60 and think about who we have seen begging and pleading in our world for support and outright help during time of war around the world.
