Day 12 2Nephi 6-7

In chapter 6, Jacob preached the words of Isaiah to his family.  He shared how in Isaiah, The Lord speaks to the house of Israel as Jacob speaks to his family.  I likewise, will take the learning of Isaiah and Jacob and heed the counsel in my life.

What I learned is that we are to bring our sons and daughters to the understanding of God. To love, respect, and fear the Lord (with no want to disappoint him) should be my goal. I am to bow down to God and not be ashamed to love, adore, and speak of Him to others.

Jesus was prophesied by Isaiah to come to the world, be scourged, and crucified by those who do not acknowledge and believe He is the Messiah.  As a result, God will scatter them.  They will be reunited, forgiven, and blessed; however when they acknowledge Jesus Christ as the Messiah, they will be gathered again and not be lost.  God will fulfill his covenant with them when they repent.

I can repent, be gathered, and receive promises from Heavenly Father as I learn of the power of Christ in my life!  If I believe, I will not be destroyed at the last day.  The Lord is God, the Holy one of Israel!

Our mighty God will deliver his covenant people and I am one of them.  "All flesh will know that Christ is the mighty one of Israel at the last day."

"For your iniquity have you sold yourselves"

"Can I deliver you?"
