Day 13 2Nephi 8-9

In Chapter 8, Isaiah 51 and 52 are referenced.  I love how the Lord says that things tarnish, die, weather, and disappear but He never ever will.

God's people who love and trust Him will never be left alone.  He will always be there for His people who are faithful.  

I want to write God's law on my heart!

I want to be held in the arms of the Lord!

I want to be faithful all the days of my life!

I want to trust my God, believe Him, and believe in Him.

I want to make Covenants and promises with the Lord.

I know that Isaiah saw all that would happen from the time of Christ's birth to the Resurrection after his crucifixion.  I know that the Plan of Salvation, Redemption, and Happiness was accepted before this earth was ever even formed.

Something so important in these chapters is how I felt so deeply when it was written that Christ's Atonement was eternal and everlasting.  That because of Christ, we will not be forever subject to the devil, father of lies, the monster!

I am saved from spiritual death!  I will be resurrected,and receive a perfect physically restored body!  I will have a perfect knowledge.

Please read chapter 9 slowly and with purpose.  Highlight and journal the things that you want to remember.  I love that Chapter 9 outlines the Plan of Salvation!  I am not left to navigate life without guidance and understanding of why I am on this earth!  Hallelujah!
